National PTA Reflections Program

The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition program to encourage artistic creativity in the classroom and at home.  It offers students opportunities to express themselves creatively by creating original works of art in six different art categories: Visual Arts, Literature, Photography, Musical Composition, Dance Choreography, or Film Production.

This year's theme is "I am hopeful because..."

For more details and guidelines on submissions please visit NCPTA's Reflections page.Please make sure you follow all the rules and presentation guidelines to avoid disqualification. This includes following the naming convention. 

Entries must be the student's own independent work and must be based on the student's interpretation of the theme. Only new pieces of artwork inspired by the current year’s theme may be submitted. Each entry must be the original work of one student only. An adult may not alter the creative integrity of a student’s work and help from an adult or collaboration with other students is not allowed.

Students participate in the appropriate division for their grade: Primary (Pre-K-Grade 2) or Intermediate (Grades 3-5). Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Special Artist Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities.

To submit an entry, the student's parent or guardian must be a current PAID PTA member. If you have not yet joined GHEPTA, you can purchase your membership on our website for $15.

Our school will receive all Reflections entries through an online submission process. Student submission forms are due by October 22, 2023.
