Past Spirit Wear T-Shirts Wanted

We are looking for old Green Hope Elementary spirit wear shirts for a 20th anniversary project for the school. If you have t-shirts from older siblings in decent condition (no holes or stains in the logo area) that you no longer need, please drop them at the front office or send them in with your child with a note that they are for the PTA t-shirt collection. Thank you!

Join us for our winter PTA General Meeting PTA meeting and you'll be entered into a raffle for a cool gift basket to take home!

Meeting starts promptly at 5:30 pm. If you can't make it, check out our Facebook page where we will be streaming it live. We do not want you to miss any of our important information including: our newest PTA Board members, voting on a proposed budget amendment, and more details on upcoming events like Carnival of Lights and the new STEAM (Science, Technology Engineering, Arts and Math) Night.

Then, from 6-7:30 pm is our very popular family Bingo Night. Cards are first come, first serve, so buy yours ahead of time for $2/card. Principal Walker will be our bingo caller and there are tons of prizes with many chances to win gift cards.

Come early and grab a hot dog (veggie hot dogs, too!) from our vendor, Dang Good Dogs. They will be parked right outside the front doors.

During the PTA meeting & Bingo Night, the GHE Student Council will be having a bake sale to benefit the recent Australian Wildfires. If you and your child like to bake, please either drop off your baked treat to share at the front office on Jan. 23, or just bring it with you to the meeting. Please be advised that this is not an allergy-free bake sale. Cash only. Any questions, please contact us.

The holidays are OVER. It's mid-winter. The offspring may have drove you a little insane over that extra long two-week break. Don’t you think it’s time that you took a single night off just FOR YOU?! Adult conversation! Delicious food & drinks! And NO ONE will even MENTION the word “Lego”! Consider yourself invited!

Please join us on Thursday, Jan. 30 at Hickory Tavern in Parkside Town Commons, Cary, from 6-9pm for a fun moms night out and be entered into a raffle to win a PTA gift basket. As a special added bonus, Hickory Tavern has offered to give back 10% to GHE. Sounds like a win-win. See you there!
