SAVE THE DATE! Nov. 15 is TURKEY TROT

Nov. 15 is Green Hope's first annual Turkey Trot fundraiser. This race is our biggest fundraiser and supports school improvements and educational programs. 100% of proceeds go back to the school. This year we replaced the old company, and all the hard work to organize this comes from your children's teachers and the PTA. This special fundraiser kicks off Monday, Nov. 4 with a pep rally that all can attend at 2:45pm. In the coming weeks you will receive a lot of information from your child's teacher. And in the meantime, surprise your child and learn the turkey gobble wobble. All of the teachers will be doing the dance, too. More info here.

Squawks & Community Flocks

October's Falcon Friday Challenge Winner is...

Mrs. Burleson's 1st grade class, with 90% of students in spirit wear. Way to go, class! They will get an extra 10 minutes of recess this week.

We hope you all had as much as we did at Family Night last week. The Insane Science was so much fun and had the children laughing and screaming for a full hour. Thank you to our dedicated volunteers and PTA for going the extra mile this week to make this give back event a success. Bringing our school community of children, parents and educators together is what makes lasting memories and contributes to the overall success and happiness of our children, so thank you for being a part of our GHE community.
