Day of Play

Exciting news! Since 90 % of all students received at least one donation to the Turkey Trot Fundraiser, as promised, all students will get to have a Day of Play. 

On Tuesday, November 26 students will be responsible for nothing but play—in the truest sense of the word. Students will not be permitted to be on screens at all during this day. Teachers will not be showing movies or structuring student play at all. Teachers will, of course, maintain a safe and well-supervised environment.  

Students can bring in board games, and toys (be sure to label them) in preparation for their play day.

Our hope is that we can allow students this opportunity to be creative, to collaborate, and socialize with their peers and just be kids! We appreciate your support of this initiative as we believe that play is a very important part of a child’s learning and development and we want students to know we appreciate their part in helping the PTA raise money for school programs.
